Its been a really long time since I've made something new or been on here but I'm starting up again. Feels good to be arting again.

I have just start my classes for my freshman year at RIT (Rochester Institute of Technology). I am taking an Intro to Imaging class and my professor wants everyone to keep a blog detail the steps taking to reach the final piece of art ie. where I got my inspiration and the preliminary sketches of the idea. Either way I will post my final pieces here on dA as well but feel free to check it out :

I have come to realize that daily deviations seem to only consist of drawings/paintings or photographs. All the pieces I have seen do deserve the attention that they get but they leave out other art mediums such as photo manipulations and sculptures etc. I am aware that there are such DDs but for the month that I have been on dA I have not seen one which makes me believe that they are very rare when some of those pieces well deserve the attention given by a DD. If you agree with me please comment and lets get these mediums of art some more attention

Last night I probably had the longest and weirdest dream I've ever had in my life.

I only remember about half of it but the part i remember is i was running from the cops because I either killed some people or did something bad and I was running trough the weirdest places. I was climbing up scaffolding and jumping over fences on a beach that looked like Vietnam. I ended up in a crowd in front of a store surrounded by the cops and I decided to give up so I went into the store and took a bottle of silly string and I wanted to get some mentos but I only got 3 because right after I grabbed them a cop grabbed me but I turned around and maced him with the silly string but there was another cop right behind him who maced me with mace.

I guess I got out on bail or something because I ended up in this place where these people were playing cards with an old person who owned little birds that ran around on the table. The old person was suppose to guess what the upside down card was and he always got it right because the birds were able to look under the card and tell the old person but no one knew that. Also under the table was a bunch of persciption bottles and I took one but after I took it the cop that I maced came up to me and he wanted to question me about what i did. I remember thinking, "Shit, I have pills in my pocket" but he lead me to this secret cia place and I had to go through this crazy high tech metal detector. Then he took me to a table and told me to take a seat but i couldn't figure out how the chair worked and then I woke up.



Let me know what you think because I have no idea what to make of this dream haha and in case your were wondering I actually did not make up any of this. Also post some of your weird dreams, I'd love to hear about them.

I just got my Wacom tablet today! I've been messing around with it and its cool as hell. I got the Intuos 4 and its got fully customizable hot keys on the side. For example, I have one set to undo and one set to the eye dropper etc. Don't be jealous though. Maybe I'll draw you a mediocre picture.

I'm not that good at working with it yet but I will be uploading some of my first sketches to get some pointers. Let me know what you all think of my new work.
